Nov 2018:

Our first batch of HPC compute nodes arrived. This batch of purchase includes 8 blade nodes, each node has 2x Intel Xeon Scalable Gold 6132 (14 cores, 2.6 GHz, 19.25 MB Cache) as well as 4 rack-server nodes, each node has 2x Intel Xeon Scalable Gold 6146 (12 cores, 3.2 GHz, 24.75 MB Cache). Each node has 12x 16GB DDR4 2666MHz Memory, and 2x 480GB SSD with Raid 1 Hard Drive, 40GB Network.

In addition, we also ordered a storage node with 2x Intel Xeon Silver 4114 (20 cores, 2.2GHz, 13.75MB Cache), 64GB Memory, 2x 480GB SSD system drive, and 10x 8TB Hard Drive, with 10GB Network.

Our group’s nodes have been added to the HPC at NYU Shanghai, for details of usage see
